The engagement was great. We met downtown at the Chicago Art Institute and walked around the surrounding grounds. We visited a couple of nice sites and Jessica was definitely looking for the ring but after some more walking Jessica began to believe that I didn't have the ring. We finally found a nice quiet spot in Grant Park to make it happen and she was definitely surprised! After making some calls we headed over to Fogo de Chao for dinner and then out with some friends.

Congrats on your engagement! We're so happy for you. Great pics w/ fantastic backgrounds. I wish we were there to enjoy the city--we will be someday soon. Did you get my postcard, Dave? I had to make a Flickr movie in my tech class so I can appreciate the work you put into it. Nice job.
Well, we're preparing for the Buckeyes v. USC game at 8. We have the dip and chips and HD, what else do we need, huh? A win w/out Beanie is what we need.
